Completed in 2003, the house
is built in the traditional
Sardinian style and consists of
three levels. The two upper
air-conditioned  floors of the
Main House contain the
kitchen,  the
soggiorno, two
double bedrooms and two full
baths. The lowermost floor
houses  the
cantina apartment
with  two double bedrooms
and one full bath.  Although
connected to the main house
by an outside stairway,  the
cantina  is completely
independent and
self-contained, and includes a
small kitchen and large
living/dining area.

The arrangement of the living
quarters is perfect for couples
traveling together who desire
a bit more privacy, or for
families who require
additional space.

The Main House
From the entrance gate, the
stairs ascend to the side
terrace and into the cozy

soggiorn
o, a combination
living and dining area. The
soggiorno, although small, is
comfortably furnished with a
custom-made wrought iron
and glass table and four
chairs. Two additional chairs
can be brought in from the
adjacent terrace to
comfortably seat six adults.

A half-wall separates the
soggiorno from the kitchen.
With its custom cherry
cabinets, marble counter tops
and professional quality gas
cook top, convection oven,
dishwasher and refrigerator,
as well as high-quality
cookware and table service,
the compact, efficient kitchen
is completely equipped to
prepare meals for 12 or more.

A window gives the cook the
same beautiful ocean view,
and serves as a pass-through
to the  side terrace. Furnished
with a baker's rack, umbrella
table and seating for four,
this terrace is just the right
spot to enjoy morning coffee,
lunch or an
aperitivo while
gazing  at the  ever- changing
oceanscape below.

Cushioned lounge chairs
provide comfortable perches
on which to relax, sunbathe,
or take  the cooling ocean
breezes....and after sunset, to
enjoy the parade of lighted
ferries in the distance as they
make their way in and out of
the nearby port of Olbia.
A custom hand-painted mirror over the sofa
in the
soggiorno (above and right) reflects
the gorgeous ocean views.
The Dining Pergola
(Left and below) Large enough to
accommodate a group of 8 or
more for
al fresco dining, the
Pergola provides a shady respite
from the warm Mediterranean sun.

The Main House
Traditional Sardinian Style
Positioned on the north side of
the house, and covered with
fragrant flowering vines, the
dining pergola takes full
advantage of the afternoon
mountain breezes and offers a
cool, tranquil respite from the
intense summer sun. Its vine-
covered top and sides encase a
terraced eating area, furnished
with a large wood table and
eight cushioned chairs.

Surrounding the pergola and
running to the front of the
house, the lovely walled
garden is landscaped with a
variety of geraniums, laurel,
hibiscus and rosemary…and
for the cook, pots of fresh
parsley, thyme, oregano and
basil.
